Please be aware this product contains shellfish / crustaceans!!! This was so scary because I never would have thought to double check the label before giving it to my 6 year old who is allergic. I think this warning needs to be made more obvious!

My son complained of abdominal pain daily for over a year. Nothing helped him. He’s been taking this once a day for a week and hasn’t complained!!!! Nothing else changed. No special diet changes (although his diet was already pretty clean due to food allergies). The pain is gone! He isn’t in love with the flavor but doesn’t care because he knows it’ll keep his tummy healthy and happy.Update: it’s been over a month and I still stand behind my original review. I’m updating because I started taking this myself. I had Bariatric surgery (VSG). A common issue post-op is GERD/acid reflux. The medical community has not come up with a cure. They recommend long-term use of PPIs, which has nasty complications. No thanks! I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try digestive enzymes and thought it would be good to start with a child dose since my stomach is 80% smaller than an adult. IT WORKED!! When I take this product regularly (4-5x a week) I don’t have issues with reflux at all!

We have been using this product for one year, both the old formula and now the new, as part of a broader (physician directed) treatment strategy for my 6 yr olds health issues. Similar to another reviewer, our goal has been to keep our son off potent meds. For one year, he's been on a relaxed version of the Specific Carb Diet along with multivitamins, probiotics and these enzymes. He's gained 14 pounds and his blood work is now completely normal. We are sure these enzymes have been a contributing factor to his recovery. Thank you!!!Also we think they still taste good - kind of like those little sweet tart candies in the twisty packs!

The product itself is great. One of the few vitamins my daughter will eat. However, this product contains Xylitol which is extremely toxic to dogs and requires emergency care if ingested. It's a plastic bottle and can be chewed open. Please keep this safely put away.

My 4 year old is a GREAT eater and will eat anything you put in front of him so he is getting a varied, nutritious diet. However, we could not get him to gain weight no matter how much he ate. He had stalled out in weight gain but was healthy in every other way. After 4 months of giving these at his 2 biggest meals everyday, he has gained 2 lbs without changing anything else. These are definitely helping him break down and absorb all the food he is eating! We are so happy!
