8 years later and it works and runs LLMs
8 years later and I still use this card for some occasional gaming, and I have also ran some LLMs on it. I am happy that it is a low power product as it means it is also more quite. It was able to run an LLM model that fit on it about 15x faster than a CPU. My CPUs aren't the latest and greatest, but I was happy to be able to do some LLM experiments easier without having to buy a new GPU.I think this is the earliest NVidia generation that has decent software support for LLM from them.
