We have had his product for a little over a month and it is worth every penny! My husband installed all four cameras himself, as well as the setting up the DVR, they were all pretty self explanatory. Of course he is a carpenter and very tech savvy, I know not everyone is as fortunate. The picture on all four cameras is very clear, during the day and at night. Our backyard is pitch black at night and when we tested it, my husband could read the words on my shirt, even though I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. We have been recording all four cameras 24/7 since the day they were installed and we still have free disk space. My husband and I both have the app on our phones, I have an iPhone 7+ and he has a Samsung Galaxy S6, it works great on both of our phones. Thankfully, we haven't needed them for any bad situations, but our dog did escape our yard one day and we were able to see how he escaped by reviewing the recording!

PROS: The cameras have a great picture and are very clear, all the parts needed for install are included, the night vision is pretty good, plenty of room on the hard drive. Set up was easy and I was recording in no time.CONS: The software is a disaster. There are no instructions so you need about 8 hours of self training to figure it out. I've owned it for about 6 months and I'm still not sure I could copy a section of video to an external drive if I had to. I think there's an option to send alerts to your email but good luck figuring it out. Initially I was able to set up the phone app and it worked fine but after a few months, it stopped working and I can't figure out what's wrong.WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? nah. it was a bargain for the price but if you can't figure out how to use it it's worthless.

Was initially impressed with this camera system. The camera quality was pretty clear and the software was not too difficult to learn. Then I started to notice the issues with this system. First of all the camera sensitivity was unpredictable to say the least. One camera, despite having the highest sensitivity, only picked up motion if your were within approx. 8 feet of the camera. The other 3 had similar issues but worked well most of the time. I would test them by walking around the property while my son would tell me if I trigged motion.Then there was the heat issue. The dvr would heat up to 110 degrees (measured) resulting in the dvr rebooting multiple times per day. Took off the cover and discovered that there was no cooling fan to help dissipate the heat. It only had ventilation slits in the under part of the dvr box. Fixed that by installing a 4 inch square cooling fan which I installed underneath the dvr which drastically helped keep it cool. It was the hottest device I have ever owned.Playback was unpredictable and frustrating. I would playback video and the playback would freeze up. Sometimes to a point where it would reboot. The menu system was pretty well laid out in that it was easy to figure out after a week or so of use. But in the end, freezing playback was very frustrating. Sometimes playback camera (1 or 2 out of the four) would go blank for no reason. Sometimes on playback, one of the camera would freeze and the others would keep playing.Although cooling helped the constant rebooting, it never really stopped. I tried multiple troubleshooting solutions which would only help for a bit, at least I thought so, but the rebooting would never stop. I found myself spending way too much time trying to get it working right and in the end, it got too frustrating to have so I gave up on it.On the plus side, camera quality is very good and the dvr is small and lightweight.Hopefully others are having better experiences but as far as I'm concerned, I can't recommend this product. I'm in the process of returning it and recently found a much better system without any of these issues. It cost about $40 more but it looks and works much better.Update: Purchased a similar camera that uses ethernet cable rather than Zosi's bnc cable. It is made by Sannce (Amazon) and It has been wonderful so far. No issues whatsoever.

I've had this installed in my house for a few months now and my wife and I love it. I spent some time running the wires through the attic and placing the DVR in a closet. Used and old computer monitor with a VGA cable. The mouse it comes with works well and the software is pretty intuitive. The app is nice to download as I can watch over my house from anywhere. The only thing I can complain about is the motion sensing alerts is waaaaay to sensitive no matter how low I turn down the sensitivity! Otherwise the video quality is great and night time visibility is acceptable. Would recommend!

I was super hesitant to get this after my experience with another one. I won't mention it's ( A N N K E) name. I spent 3 days trying to get it to work and having to wait 12hrs before replies from tech.The Zosi was removed from it's box and in 5 minutes I had a cam setup, connected to the internet and was viewing images on the Android phone. I'll admit the full install will take some time with having to run wires but that's true of any wired system.PROs...Worked right out of the box!Cameras have good pictures and plenty useful at night and I can see out to 60+ feet.Viewing app was easy to setup and streams all the connected cameras.If I needed info it was easy to find on Google.It pretty much does what it says.CONs...Like all Chinese DVRs it seems to use a non standard HDMI and there is some clipping at the screen edges. VGA cable should fix that right up.Zosi Smart app is a bit clunky but gets the job done.Wish the DVR had a remote instead of mouse.So overall I am very please with it. So much so I sent the other back and won't even bother using it for a backup to my shop. I'll get another Zosi for that.
