Hat Saver Sweat and Water Repellent Spray to Protect Caps From Stains

First time buyer. After ruining my last 3 hats (97% cotton-3% spandex) by what I'm assuming was a mixture of sweat and UV damage, I went to a hat store near by and bought a new one. It's 97% polyester and 3% spandex. I bought the hat about 2 months ago and so far it's holding up 100x better than my previous cotton ones. Shortly after I purchased it, I came across an ad for this hat saver product and looked at some reviews on YouTube and Amazon. Most seemed like the product worked fairly well if you followed the directions. So I decided to purchase a can. Today, I hand washed the hat, since the directions say to apply to a new hat and that was already out of the question. Right away I was concerned about it doing some discoloring on my hat, especially on the white stitching. I've applied 2 coats. 1 really light one and one a little thicker, but not saturating it. I also let it dry about 30min between each even though the can calls for 15. Hat still looks great. No damage was done (pictures just look a little weird for some reason) and I'm excited to see how well it holds up to sweat stains since I sweat pretty bad at work. I'd definitely recommend this product. I can't vouch for all fabrics or colors, but my hat is just as good as it was before application. Update* It's now been about 3 months since I applied Hat Saver. My hat still looks new, zero sweat stains, no discoloration at all. I'm very impressed! Will definitely be buying Hat Saver again! Highly recommend.

GREAT PTODUCT

Holy cow sweat stains are gone! I've used this on several of my hats that I just received as a coach this fall, and they are sweat stain free, even on some hot early fall days. I haven't put it through a full summer, but so far with with an 8 week season, my hats look brand new. I will use this on every baseball I hat I buy from now on.

Stuff really works well

Pricey stuff, but helps when used right.
