The fact that each leg height can be individually adjusted makes this bench work in lots of settings (e.g. one leg on top of a non slip mat) with the seat remaining level and the bench remaining stable. If used with a bathtub, and the user sits down on it while outside the tub, they do need to be able to lift their legs (in a seated position) over the side wall of the tub, so make sure this will work for your particular requirements. If used with a stand up shower, make sure it either fits inside the shower enclosure, or that you are o.k. with some water getting outside of the shower if the door or curtain cannot be fully closed.
