Heys Luggage Escale, Silver, One Size

Seriously...what an AMAZING product for the over-packers. This was SO simple to use right off the bat. I didn't even read the instructions and had no problem figuring it out. It's easy to switch between weight types. It's very easy to hold and read. The hook is a great size as well. The product itself is incredibly light which is nice for packing inside your suitcase and small enough to tuck into your carry on if you didn't want to put it inside your checked bag. I don't know how many times I've packed over my weight limit only to stand at the counter & re-distribute items into my carry-on to avoid paying an over-weight fee. Now I won't have to worry and can do it before I even leave. Much easier that weighing yourself on a bathroom scale holding the luggage to figure out how much it weighs. :) Appears very accurate in it's weight but I haven't traveled with it yet. I am confident it will be a great tool for me. As for the color/design - beautiful! I purchased it in the fuschia color and it really is quite beautiful. I would definitely recommend this for anyone, but especially those that have a tendency to pack a little on the heavier side.

My parents travel a lot and I thought it was something cute and useful for them. They used it twice already and mention that it's accurate.

It's bad enough that the airlines feel compelled to nick you for each piece of luggage, so it goes without saying that you don't want to give them any other reason to squeeze you for more. On a recent trip to Hawaii, we had 3 pieces of checked luggage. Thank goodness for the escale, as we brought each piece of our luggage to the airline's scale at 49 lbs each, (50 being the max)....Without the escale, we probably would have pushed past the limit....This thing works like a charm, is incredibly accurate, and is easy to pack, (without adding extra weight!).

After waiting weeks to arrive, I was shock at first to think the product was defective. After buying a pair of new lithium batteries, it jumped to life. Seems to work fine now, but the cost greatly increased with the batteries

I like the design of this scale because you do not have to hold your (potentially heavy) bag out in front of you to see the scale. You can just pick it up by your side and see the display. I have found the measurement to be accurate to within half a pound, although you should take multiple measurements since each one can differ by up to half a pound. So, it's not the most accurate scale in the world, but is close enough to let you know if you are grossly over the weight limit. Also a comparatively cheap scale that doesn't weight much itself.

I was initially happy with this scale as going for this trip, but found is is malfunctioning in about a half way through the trip. I still have about 10 more days to go. I claimed for refund online but it gave it only a few day to ship it back. Now I have no way to get the original plastic cover that has come, and have to return it as is, hoping they will give me the full refund. Disappointed, and on the of it, not sure if I can get the refund either. :-((( PS. I've never abused nor dropped it, and packed it in my suite case well enough for flight check-ins.

I bought this for a friend because the one she had before was too difficult to lift. We tried this one the day we got it, since I was going a trip. All I had to do was hook it and lift it. Just make sure that you are really lifting the suitcase, and that no part of it is resting on the floor or your body, because, of course, if not you won't get an accurate ready. Since it is a handle, it is easy to lift the suitcase without making too much effort. The scale at the airport gave me the same reading. Also, I really like that you can switch between kilos and pounds.

Bought this for my brother for Christmas since he travels a lot and is always complaining about paying overweight fees charged by the airlines! The scale is very compact, lightweight, and easy to read the digital display. In fact, we were weighing all kinds of things Christmas day it was so fun and easy to use. We liked it so much we're going to buy one for ourselves.
