As described. Arrived must faster than stated. I like the product, light weight multi use. The grip is comfortable and folding it is super easy. I highly recommend it.

Bought this and the extension handles. Both are very well made. O rings seal the threaded sections together. Tried the tool used as an axe, cross grain on a downed, dried out tree. Did an acceptable job. Locked the tool into the shovel position and tried it on sun baked badlands soil. Very good as both shovel and adze positions.Pried with the head embedded into sandstone, sand, rock mixture and no issues. This tool folds up to a very compact size and so far has been excellent. Bought a second unit to use in another vehicle as part of the emergency kit.

I've not had a chance to use it in the field, but assembling it and testing it for strength, this is a quality product. It was acquired for use during a May 2018 visit to Notch Peak Wilderness.As is, it is great. Just before I ordered, I learned about the (RS) extension tubes (two in a separate pouch), and after some consideration, I added it to this purchase. I'm giddy with delight that I did; the product itself is great; with the extension tubes, it's superb!! The carrying pouch for the shovel itself has an empty slot, perfectly sized for the two extension tubes, which means that I can use the separate pouch for something else, with little, if any, weight penalty. I strongly recommend buying the two of them together, if you choose this brand.Looking forward to many years of use,Vlad

I am giving it 3 stars because of two reasons.1) 2 pics extension is very expensive which is almost equal to shovel price. (I believe extension cost should be reasonable)2) Shovel is not folding completely, first folding or locking position remain open around 25 degree from base or handle. (I dont know mine is like this or this is manufacture fault, whatever it is, this open position look really very odd or unconformable to carry).see the attached pic, this is shovel last locking or folding position, ideally it should be close/fold completely with it base or handle but it dose not.
