Excellent quality sight
Excellent quality sight. Was not designed for the 1911 A1. Fortunately we had the machinery to change the angle of the sight dovetail to fit the 1911 Mil Spec slide. It took some work but the sight looks good. Solid "click" adjustment for height and windage adjustment. Will take my screwdriver to the range to zero the sight in. I would not order this for the A1 (Mil Spec) unless you're planning on machining the angle of the sight.

Great complement to a XS Big Dot standard dot front ...
Works perfectly. Put it on a Springfield 1911 (loaded target model). The white dots are highly visible. Great complement to a XS Big Dot standard dot front sight. It's now a combat ready 1911 versus a target pistol. Note: Springfield didn't make a three dot 9mm 1911 in stainless steel - so I had to modify what was available to get what I wanted. Thanks Kensight for helping to make this happen.

Good quality sight
Bought this for my Springfield. I would have given it the top rating, except for the amount of time I had to spend fitting it to the slide. It was a lot more work than I expected. The sight is more compact than the OEM sight and the white dots make it usable in lower light. Quality appears the same as the OEM sight.

Easy to overcut dovetail fit
Had to toss out the sight after I missed the correct fit. :(Sold the gun.Bought one with adjustable sight already installed. :)
