Used on medium ALICE
I used this to revive an old medium ALICE ruck that didn’t have a frame, and it’s been quite useful. It’s more comfortable than the original tubular-metal torture device that was issued with the pack, and it works great for the hikes I’m making. Setup was simple, though I did have to modify the ALICE kidney pad. If I had it to do over I’d just buy the appropriate kidney pad and belt, which would fit the frame without mods. All in all this was a great purchase. I might even buy more to mod the rest of my old rucks.

Med ruck frame
It works great once you get the straps figured out!

Works with the medium ALICE
Fits the medium ALICE perfectly. You can buy the medium MOLLE ii waist belt in either ACU or multicam, but I just attached an ALICE kidney pad. For straps, I use the regular ALICE shoulder straps attached to the frame at the bottom and to the ALICE pack at the top. This frame is much lighter and longer than the aluminum ALICE frame, which for me makes it much more usable.

Replacement for Medium rucksack
I bought this because I broke the frame on my medium rucksack from BCT. It is exactly the same as the original one, so all I had to do was take off about 20 thousand straps, switch the frame, and then remember where all the little straps went back on the new frame.
