Handy way to heat water quickly, up to boiling.
Works great. Heats water quickly and keeps it hot afterwards but shuts off automatically. The digital temperatures show current temp and goal temp. Pours easily and accurately. Glad I bought it.

Nifty small goose neck kettle with 1 L capacity
Heats water quickly, convenient temperature controls +-5 Degrees F for various types of teas, wide mouth easy to clean. Only negative,, steel liner forms scale very easily, so have to rinse out with white vinegar every 2-3 uses, or when I keep water in keetle for extended time for multiple fills. Use this kettle regularly.

Works great. Beautiful design. Obnoxious beep alerts :-(
I love this kettle and would happily buy another, save one ridiculous engineering flaw: its beep alert. This thing beeps when you start it, again when it actually starts, then 3 times when it reaches temperature, and finally once again when it times-out and automatically turns off. Although, I don’t really find those beeps informative, sure, someone else might. So, ok. That’s fine. However, here is where my understanding stops and where it seems the Cuisinart engineer just said “oh well, screw it. Let’s just source the cheapest, loudest, dumbest sounding, and most shrill beeper that can be sourced”. Not only is it just loud and shrill and annoying (think small dump truck backing up) in our small household where I get up earlier than anyone else and make coffee, it literally wakes up my wife. Cuisinart, if you’re listening, you’ve got a beautifully designed and engineered product, but look around at the other appliances and the soft—and actually pretty-sounding— piezoelectric chimes that most manufacturers started implementing quite a few years back. It would make this the perfect kettle.

Fabulous kettle
Well-designed for looks and function. Boils enough water for a pot of coffee in 2 minutes. The product description is right about the pour (more important for pour-over coffee than for tea): "Precision gooseneck spout designed for precise pour control." Used mine a year and liked it so much I bought another as a gift. When you see people complaining about how expensive it is, note that the price fluctuates wildly. (I'm talking about Amazon/Amazon, not 3rd party sellers.) In the last couple of years, it has been everywhere from MSRP $129.99 down to $49.95. I paid under $60 both times. (Keep your eyes open for the $25.99 coupon that sometimes shows up.) If you read the review from the person who has trouble dealing with the excellent saftey shutoff feature, note that you can avoid their problem by simply leaving some water in the kettle when you're done. Just boil a bit more than you plan to use.

Err error message and that BEEEEP
Worked for 3 days. But even when it was working, it beeps LOUDLY three times when it’s done. Who thought that’s what people want? For some reason, you also have to line up the arrows on the lid. Or it’s “suggested” you do maybe? Because it fits and works fine if you don’t. Flow is a bit fast for pour over. Which I could have worked with, and that’s fine I guess but still had to mention it. The deal breaker is now it says Err and doesn’t stop beeping until you unplug it. Yes it’s 3/4 full, yes the arrows are aligned, yes I unplugged it for an afternoon to reset whatever. No it was never boiled empty and no you can’t set it to 208… it’s 200 or 212. Before it failed, it was a 3 star kettle at best. Slow, 5 degree increments only - except 200-212 jump, and the flow is a bit too high for a V60. To really nitpick, the controls are right in the middle where the handle is, so you have to fuss with it to get it out of the way. And that beep! It’s way too loud for early morning and if all goes well, you’ll hear it 7 times from off to coffee done. No volume or mute options at all. We have the same brand regular flip top kettle with the blue light behind the water level, after a decade, still happy with it. Cuisinart dropped the ball on this one for sure. Even at half the cost on sale, working as it should, it’s hard to recommend this. But failing so soon, easy return.

Perfect for tea or coffee.
This kettle is simply awesome. It is not too big as some other brands. I really like the option to set a temperature as green tea temperature is lower than black tea or coffee. The pour design works flawlessly and the interior is perfect. No taste is added so the water stays as good as it went in. The unit has a 30 minute keep warm function at the selected temperature or you can hit the power and it shuts off immediately. Time will tell on durability but it seems like this will last for years.

Keep Warm Default Setting Cannot Be Changed!
I love this kettle except for one flaw that makes it a real PITA to use. It heats super quickly, remembers the temperature I want, pours nicely, is beautiful, feels well built. However, it will always default to the keep warm setting. This is a huge problem for me because I don't want to leave water in the pot all the time so I only heat enough water for one cup of tea. I press the power button, the water boils, and I pour the water over my tea, and I replace the kettle. But since I haven't drank my tea yet, I commonly forget that I need to turn off the keep warm function in advance or turn off the kettle after pouring. When I forget, the kettle tries to heat its empty self and doesn't stop till you can smell the metal and plastic getting hot, which is scary. It eventually senses the issue, performs emergency shut-down, and requires unplugging and plugging back in to restart (might be automatic if I wait long enough). The designers must have assumed that everyone always heats more water than they'll use and leaves the water in the kettle. That one critical flaw makes the pot not very relaxing for me to use because I'm always afraid I'll forget to turn off the keep warm setting.

Do not delay - buy it!
I’ve gone my whole life thinking, hmm, do I really want or need a goose neck kettle? In hindsight I realize that’s meant years of kettles that ultimately fell short of my vision for preparing great tea and coffee. This model is superb. Easy to use & clean, fast to heat, helpful features that are all relevant, attractive design, perfect size. I’ve never been happier with a kettle, even if it makes a digital sound rather than a whistle when the water is ready. :)
