Bad batch - Check your capsules first!
I have bought Thorne glycine previously. I don't like capsules so open them up and dissolve the powder in water. They should taste and look almost like icing sugar. This recent batch of capsules smells and looks perfectly fine (and everything was sealed) but do not be deceived - when you open up the capsule and pour the powder in water, there is a distinctive awful smell and vomit taste. It is very bad! You will feel a little nauseous after taking them. Extremely concerning for our health. Check your capsules first!

Immediate and noticeable effect
I'm willing to try supplements and usually abandon them pretty quick when I don't see benefits, but these pills stopped me needing to get up every night to pee, which is a huge win!

Vital for sleep!
I love Thorne products because I can trust them. They are a little more expensive, but in the supplement world there is a lot of snake oil - we can't be too careful! Glycine in particular is the ONLY thing that helps me sleep at night without any "hangover in the morning." It helps the body produce glutathione, which is useful in detoxification, and removing inflammation at a cellular level.
