I probably should have soaked longer because I think I scraped off nail enamel in the process, so next time I will be more patient.

I saw this exact tool at CVS for $5...there were other products in this line as well. Save yourself $7 by going to your local CVS, if you have one close by. Useful little tool that feels high quality.
I lost my nail tool and needed another one in a hurry. I'm glad I spent a bit extra on this as it feels high quality and the scraper is sharp so makes short work of removing gel polish. Be warned, if you are too heavy handed it will take a little of your nail off with it as it is so efficient so be cautious until you get the pressure right. I use both ends depending on how the polish is coming off and they can also be used to gently push cuticles back.

Really good, easy to use and doesn't scratch or damage nails too much. So much quicker than soaking in acetone.
