Question 1

Let me clarify my earlier question..since each spray had 40mg and the daily recommended is 400mg does that mean i have to do 10 sperays daily

Accepted Answer

Hello! Yes, if this is your only source of magnesium and your intention is to supplement with 400mg of magnesium daily, then that would equal 10 pumps of Ancient Minerals Lotion.

Additionally, while topical magnesium is a wonderful supplementation method to increase and maintain adequate magnesium levels, we also recommend consuming a diet high in nutrient/magnesium dense sources such as leafy greens, nuts, and whole grains.

Question 2

What are all the ingredients?

Accepted Answer

Ancient Minerals Magnesium Lotion is a smooth, quickly absorbed emulsion of magnesium chloride in a skin-nourishing base of certified organic oils. Rich in plant moisturizers, this lotion soothes and hydrates without leaving your skin feeling waxy or greasy. It is fragrance-free and does not contain any formaldehyde-releasing preservatives.

Ingredients:
Water, Genuine Zechstein magnesium chloride, organic vegetable glycerin, organic simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, olive squalane, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, organic cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, glyceryl stearate, cetyl alcohol, organic butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), xanthan gum, lactobacillus ferment, cocos nucifera (coconut) fruit extract, sodium hyaluronate

Every ingredient scores 1 on the EWG Skin Deep Database (safest on their scale of 1-10)

40mg elemental magnesium per 1ml / 1 full pump press

Question 3

Does this make your skin itch?

Accepted Answer

It does not bother me however I know it does make some people itch but not as much as the oil does. The recommendation I got from my chiropractor was to wash the skin 5 minutes after applying IF it was making you itch.

Question 4

Does this lotion help with back spasms?

Accepted Answer

I am on my 3rd can of this. My son and wife sent me the 1st 2! I ordered the 3rd for it's so wonderful. My muscles all over the body have been known to spasm here and there! I recommend trying it and if possible, have someone assist putting some on your back. It doesn't take a lot and the results are sooo quick!
