FXA2 you can't go wrong!
I listen to a lot of Funk and old school soul music where it's a lot of bass guitar riffs. These IEM are excellent for that considering you have to break them in first. A bit harsh if you don't break them in at first but once you do you're in for a nice treat. Hook these babies up to a nice DAC/AMP like the Geek Out 1000, and they'll really bring forth the magic. Be careful with the wires, they are thin and can get tangles easily. Other than that these are stellar.Update: 5/15/2017 - While the IEM still sounds good, I learned using the original ear tips does no justice. You may have to buy aftermarket ear tips for they give a much better seal thus sound. And they may sit in your ear a lot better. The bass reproduced is more articulate and not boomy. So far they are holding up to daily use and they get a lot of attention from co workers who recognise the Fender name. Remember, using an amp you will get the most out of these IEM.

I have been pretty happy with the Fender in-ear monitor
I have been pretty happy with the Fender in-ear monitor. I was using a lower end set of Shure in ears and the bass, as well as the clarity of sound, was no where near as good as the FXA2. I play guitar and bass, and was finally able to hear the bass in my ears and not just feel it in the room. Good clarity, good sound, slightly bulky when wearing for long periods of time. I can't give them a 5 just because I know there are better in ears on the market, but for the money I am definitely pleased with the purchase.

Sound is great, but....
Finding that Fender were going to market a line of in ear monitors, I could not wait to get my hands (and ears) on a pair. I purchased a set of the FXA2's, and have now been thru the "burn-in" period. The sound I find to be top heavy, if you like a lot of bass, these will work for you. However, the housings are HUGE, they do stick out from the ears some, making them somewhat hard to keep in, and does cause some fatigue if they are worn for long periods. The most negative matter is the cable. Only having them a few months, the cable has sheared already, causing a short, and of course, drop outs of music. Contacted Fender, what is needed to get a replacement cable (copy of the original receipt, a video of the problem on the cable, with an explanation...) is really not worth it.

Great sound with no bass distortion
I bought these to use for in ear monitors at church. I play bass and just wasn't happy with my Shures. I tried them this morning at church and couldn't believe how much better they were. I literally could hear everything from highs to lows very clear. I was concerned that they may not handle the bass but they were great. I wasn't expecting much since there are so many others that cost so much more. Each musician has our own controller so we can mix vocals and instrument levels to our preference. These ears worked great with that system. I only used them today so if anything changes I will update.

Great construction. Ok sound.
I'd rate it higher for construction and fit. These fit better than Sure and Audio Technica ones I've used but the sound is just OK. The response seems to drop off at the high end leaving a lot of detail out of the mix and producing a very mid-range-heavy sound. You can crank them without distortion but that's not unique. We'll see how the sound shape is for fatigue on a long gig. They should work just fine for me on gigs as a drummer but I won't be listening to any albums with these.

Fender always makes great products!!
If you think that Fender just made great guitars and amps. As with all Fender made products these earbuds bring the great sound Fender is known for. They come with several types and size ear canal tips for a custom fit. If want to hear your music collection or you want to use them while singing with a band this has to be the best bang for the buck. I love these earbuds!!

Not a good buy for me..
Sorry for poor review. I used these with the aviom as monitors for guitar and singing. First time I used them I noticed the rubber ear pc would not stay on. the little plastic piece the holds it on must have fell off and I couldn't find it. I had already thrown the packaging away so had to deal with that. Last week the left monitor completely quit working. I know Fender is quality stuff but this buy was not good for me. I was going to contact the seller but could not find it here. I've had these for two months now and can't use them.

Not working after just 2 months
Bass is good for this earphone. However, the one for the right ear was broken down after just 2 months. I have been using it for 2 hrs per day at most.

Excellent earbud
Best earbuds if you want to listen to R&B, Pop, etc. It is not the studio quality that will separate all instruments but it is the best sounding earbud that I have ever tried when it comes to listening to music on the go. The earbuds fit perfectly, blocking almost all outside noise. Sound is more warmer and bassier than Shure or Westone, and if you want some punchy bass, this earbud is very great. Bass is punchy however not exaggerated like Beats. For the price, I will say this earbud is the best out of all other brands that I have tried (Shure, Westone, UE, Sony, Sennheiser)

Great sound for the price!
Work very well for the price point. I use them as a bass player and the low end is superb.

Great sound, great product
Incredible sound, great sturdy product. My only negative is that it would be nice for them to also come with foam tips like the Shure SE315 does, as the rubber tips fall out when you sweat and can also generate too much of a vacuum from the suction. Even purchasing foam tips separately, they don't 'clip' on, so get left behind in your ear when you take off the IEMs...
