My objective in purchasing this digital recorder was to record lectures / discussions from scholars, specially for pronunciation purposes. But I am finding that I am able to incorporate other data collected (inspirational speeches / quotes) from it into my social media platforms as well. The most amazing detail I like about this digital recorder is that it records voices (spoken normally) clearly somewhere between 9 - 11 feet away.

I've been using this for several years now with regular use. It is a good quality recorder, dependable (never had a recording issue) and easy to use. I have come to rely on it for clear, clean, audio recording that can be easily retrieved and used. The only issue might be the mic you use and the cord used to download recordings. I've been through two different cords that stopped working as transfer connections. I don't know why they stopped working. The one it came with was only ever used to transfer data from the device and was not bend or subjected to weight or play at the connection points. It stopped working after a year with not much use. However, the device is working well and the transfer cable is a common type found everywhere.
