This review is for the vanilla scented oil. The ingredients are very simple, and this is definitely edible. That said, it doesn't really taste like anything which is good as far as I'm concerned. I simply wanted an oil that wouldn't poison me, and I'm sure this will not. The smell is *real* vanilla. Not some fake, overprocessed garbage but real vanilla.Think extract, like you were making cookies. The oil itself works very well as a massage oil. I'm only taking one star away because the pump stopped working the first time it was used, so now I need to get a replacement. Otherwise, it's a solid purchase and fun to use as an edible oil. My woman moans her approval.

My boyfriend has been working a lot more and I wanted to surprise him with a nice thorough massage. He adores the smell of vanilla, we have like four vanilla candles in our living room alone, so I saw this and saw the reviews so I had to try it out. It came smelling exactly like vanilla, even like that dunkin donuts drink the cake batter latte, which is my boyfriend's favorite as well. I gave it a taste and yes it also taste like vanilla just vanilla without sweetness so don't expect it to taste like ice cream or something. It doesn't have an aftertaste at least to me. I tested a little on myself and I have to say wow, it really does just soak into your skin and it warms you up too! I'm not sure if it said that somewhere but I was pleasantly surprised. Lastly I love that it comes capped and has a separate pump, makes storing it so easy. Overall I love this product. Amazon can be hit or miss sometimes but if you're looking for a nice gift for your partner or want a specific oil for your own massages this is definitely the one. Also! the smell is at a good level that I don't think I could ever get tired of, it's not too overpowering but its not faint either.

There is no coconut scent at all. Overwhelmingly sweet and strong vanilla scent. Too much to handle at time when you should be relaxed.

Works great as massage oil but leaves hard sand like grains and definitely DOESNT smell like vanilla, it’s butter at best.

Smells amazing and works great. Does feel a bit misleading when it uses edible in the product title but it’s not actually edible.

This is very slippery and oilyLight but long lasting pleasant scent .Flavour ,, its not bad for a massage oil ,, not something to enjoy , but a lot better then most oils out there .Not the is very slippery and greasy , but light oil .If this is what you want its perfect

This is a decent product. Does the job. Not as "slippery" as I would like to give massages, but certainly not sticky either. Smells nice, doesn't have much flavour and isn't sweet (also probably keeps it from becoming sticky). Feels nice on the skin and doesn't need to be washed off after. So overall a good solid product, however I feel there may be better options out there, but I will happily continue to use this one in the meantime.

Excellent, good scent

I have bought this product many times in the passed and enjoyed it . Unfortunately the last few times quality control has been sub par. I purchased it once ..I always buy vanilla unfortunately it smelled like dark chocolate! I purchased it a second time and I had to return it as it smelled like it had gone bad!! When I reordered it it arrived once again smelling nothing like vanilla !! ( I have a small travel container from a previous vanilla) i will keep this one but not buying it any more. It's too bad I'm not sure what can be so complicated to make sure I receive vanilla!
