Good quality backpack, met the expectation of the advert, spacious for my kitten she loves it.Only one recomendation when walking it appears to be bouncy maybe add on a waist strap.

We bought this last minute because our cat had clawed some holes in our other bag and didn't realize until we had already arrived in NYC and we were flying to France and a couple of other countries a week later. It held up for the month of traveling to other countries and fit under the seat of the airlines we flew: Delta, Vueling, and Transavia. Our cat is 16lbs so he is a big boy not fat but like Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest cat big and this worked for him but this is probably better suited for cats under 12lbs-13lbs just to have more space. I do wish there was more hidden pockets to put cat stuff in but we still made it work. I would recommend this bag for airline travel. :)

This backpack was a lifesaver on my trip to visit my daughter in NYC. I primarily used it for safe/legit travel on the subway. My dog is 10 lbs and fit very comfortably. The sides and top include mesh panels which allowed good airflow. The small mesh, zip opening at the top allowed my little guy to pop his head out without escaping, which was really important because it was so hot! I wore it to my front, which gave me better stability going up and down subway stairs and sitting, but this might feel awkward for some (Think 10 months pregnant! LOL). Both sides unzip completely, which allowed me to collapse the bag while my dog was on his leash. There is a buckle of sorts that, intentional or not, I used to secure the bag into a thin 4-6", streamline backpack. The straps are really comfortable. An added bonus was, since we traveled by car, I was able to use this bag as a second "suitcase" for things I would need when we arrived: his food, water bowls, etc. I am VERY pleased with this purchase!

I broke my foot. My cats are 13 pounds and 16 pounds. I was able to put one of my cats in this backpack and comfortably be on crutches to take it to the vet. Hand off was great. Cat was able to lay in it and I could unzip the top to pet his head after picking him up.
