What is the model of your LiftMaster ? Is there another receiver near it. Reason for the inquiry is that LiftMaster never had a 10 Dip Switch in their operator. The Older one had a 9 dip switch with 3 positions ( +, 0, and - ) If there is an auxiliary receiver on it that is gray and says Multi Code then you will want the 4120

If i am replacing one remote with 8 dip switch and a 10 dip switch will it work?

I am by no means an expert I just looked it up online and I was able to enter the code and it open the gates
