Edit: less than a year & they changed the materials! Replacement band (bottom of pic) looks more cheaply made. I will be returning itI put my watch bands through serious abuse because I wear them during every activity. Gardening, sanding woodwork, sealing cement, painting, kayaking - this watch has seen it all and held up really well. I thought the buckle part would break, instead the band because it pulled out of its housing. This band lasted less than a year for me, but again I really abused it. I’m ordering another one because it was comfortable. If you’re gentler on your jewelry, I’ll bet it will last a few years.

This strap is expensive but is worth every penny. It comes with a screwdriver and screws, but I reused the screws that came with my Garmin.The original straps last about a year, this nylon strap should last a lot longer. The material is high quality, and the packaging is simple but extremely effective at keeping small parts secured during shipping.I bought the same Garmin VivoSmart HR for my mom, for my wife and for me. These nylon bands are a life saver, just note that they are not as comfortable or form fitting as the original strap but are great in the long run. They are just as comfortable as traditional-military-nylon watch bands.

I was looking for a replacement band that wasn't like the velcro ones that I have gotten in the past that make my garmin look like a big ol tracker. This one works great, when I opened it, it came with the adapter for the HR and HRplus connectors. All in all this is a better band than what I expected.

Great alternative to the original Garmin band when irritated my skin. After changing to this band the rash on my arm disappeared.

I just purchased these replacement watch bands for my Garmin Visosmart. I was able to use good common sense and I followed the instructions to install the bands without asking for help. For me, that is a big deal! I hope 6 months from now I will still be happy with this purchase. These bands seem sturdy and fashionable.

Maybe in time it will "break in" but new it is stiff, and not comfortable. I went back to the neopreme band almost immediately.

So much better than the original. I was so tired of replacing that band! It would always stretch where it attached to the watch and wouldn’t stay on. This one is plastic instead of silicone and has hinges where it attaches to the watch. So far so good!

Poor fit and poor quality. The piece that fits into the watch had to be shaved down so it would actually fit. The strap itself has notches and my wrist is between sizes. The notches are further apart than they appear in the photo. Lastly, the retaining band for the strap does not fit snugly so it slides off and doesn’t hold the excess strap down.

Fit my watch great and I have been using it for a few months now. Does not stretch out like the original replacement style. Holds great and dries quickly after getting wet.
