Great value. The length (height )of the shoe was a bit small, even after removing the inner sole, so I had to wear thin socks until they stretched. Otherwise, beautiful shoes.

I was saddened that the right shoe box did not fit as well as the left shoe. It was not padded as well at the top over the big toe and the hard "plate" that is under the padding cuts off right in the middle of my toe; it immediately caused intense pain and redness which would have resulted in a blister. The last pair of these Eastland Plainview shoes that I bought a few years ago fit excellently and there was no problem, so I was disappointed to have to mail these back. I would exchange them now, but I am afraid that this might happen again at such a busy season. I may try again in the future because these shoes are very nice and hold up well. Most people would not have a problem with this particular pair of shoes. (I have a larger toe on that foot and have to be careful that they are sewed just right in the right shoe box.)

I bought a pair of these many years ago and was thrilled to find the same style on Amazon. These shoes are comfortable and I was able to find my size in a wide. I have found them to be true to size.I noticed some reviews indicated issues with the toe box. I found that both shoes had a large wad of paper used to keep the form that was easily removed. However, each shoe had an additional piece firmly wedged to the toe box side. It took a bit work to get these extra pieces out. I wonder if some of the reviews that have issues with the toe box width or finding one shoe fit and the other did not were because of this tightly packed paper. It was so firmly packed I thought it was plastic.Overall I would definitely recommend these if you need a comfortable pair of shoes.

I bought these to replace my last pair, which sadly have finally started to come unstitched on the side. I have purchased this shoe two other times in the past and have been able to put them on and have them immediately so comfortable I could have walked the entire day in them in comfort. This pair, sadly, did not make the cut. Apparently, Eastland has changed something, because these were not only very uncomfortable but didn't even fit properly. They are 1/2 inch narrower than my other shoes just by holding them up sole to sole. The leather is hard and bends stiffly, grinding into my toes when I walk, and the heel rubs, which I know would be a problem for a while, if not as long as I owned them. The sole material isn't the same and seems more plastic than rubber. I'm so disappointed because these have been my go-to shoes. I've sent this pair back. I'm taking my old favorites to the shoe repair. I wish companies focused as much on quality to keep loyal customers as they do cutting costs by using cheaper materials and labor.

I have small narrow feet, normally wear a 5.5 or 6, wanted to wear with bulky socks so ordered 6.5 I was able to get my right foot in wearing a peds, the left foot on the other hand I was not able to slide in at all. Shoe uppers are very stiff. The bottom I thought would be more rubbery but they are rigid as well almost like hard plastic, I was concerned that you could slip on wet or icy pavement. I really wanted to love these shoes as I had something similar that were quite comfortable and a little flexible. These look nice but are super tight. I did also order a size 7 after I read some of the reviews saying they were tight and they too were just as narrow as the 6.5 just a little longer in the toe and heel area. For those that want to know if you can take out insole to replace with orthotics, yes you can. As for having the shoe stretched , I didn’t want to go to all the fuss and still have a very stiff shoe that needed to be broken in. My other shoes didn’t have to have that done to them, they were comfortable from the beginning. The size 6.5 arrived without plastic baggies covering each shoe, I didn’t find that a problem until I saw that the size 7’s were expertly wrapped and bagged, meaning that I must have received a returned item. Don’t mind that considering you are purchasing an online product. Just putting it out there after all this is a review. Would like to try a 6.5 wide but they are not available at this time.

Comfortable. I am able to wear these shoes without my feet hurting. The fit is true to size. Great quality.

The media could not be loaded.  I wear a size 7.5 but the back of the shoe was too tight so I exchanged it for a size bigger and when I tell you these shoes are comfortable if you are on your feet for a period of time I fill like I’m walking on clouds I recommend this company to anyone who love to be comfortable in their shoes. These are the best and the exchange was delivered quickly so I was able to be comfortable. Again thank you

They started off super comfy. 4 days later the right shoe started to almost crack just below the big toe. Cheap leather?

My absolute favorite work shoes. They fit comfortably from day one. No breaking in. Lasted about a year and a half of daily use in office setting. My previous pairs lasted even longer. This is my 4th pair of this brand & style since about 10 years ago. This pair is only slightly different from my previous pair, but feel just as comfortable. Fit well around my narrow foot. Glad I was able to find them online.

Ordered a 6W and they’re too long on my short foot by an inch, and the wide felt more like a narrow shoe. So disappointed, they were promptly returned.

before I needed orthosis but with these shoes I do not need them anymore. I recommend them. I even bought a pair to my husband.
