Flaxseed Recipes Purify Me Frizz-Fighting Moisturizing Co-Wash Hair Cleanser for Chronically Dry Hair and Protective Styling, 12 Fl Oz

I had been using a co-wash I found at a discount (overstock) store, but they ran out of it and that led me to have to look into finding a replacement that wouldn't cost me an outrageous amount. This Aunt Jackie's seemed to have decent reviews, and although the price wasn't anywhere near as cheap as I was getting my previous co-wash for, it also wasn't nearly as expensive as most of the other ones seen on here. So, I ordered it.All in all, I've been pretty happy with it. I feel it keeps my hair nicely nourished and soft, but also helps to gently cleanse my hair without stripping or damage. I use this in between my shampoo days, which are about every 3 days or so. I have very oily skin and hair, so going too long without doing a nice, clarifying shampooing seems to start to make my hair look gross. However, I imagine those with less greasy hair could go more days between shampoos using this product than I am able to. It all depends on your personal needs.Now, keep in mind, I've only used one other co-wash other than this, so my comparison to other ones is extremely limited, but based on my limited experience, I would still recommend this product and I will continue to personally buy it, until/unless I find another product at about the same price that works as well or better (but so far, I have not found any others in this price range to even try and compare to it, unfortunately).

Works well, I just wish it had a better scent.

This is a SUPER THICK shampoo. It's hard to squeeze out of the bottle. It doesn't suds up greatly, either. However, it does clean well. My hair feels clean and smells fresh. I like how rich this shampoo is. I don't think it addresses my frizzy hair, but it does clean well and my hair feels moisturized.

Quality co-wash!

It’s thick, it makes your scalp feel so clean and your hair hydrated but the fragrance is awful - otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Disappointed because I really love Aunt Jackie’s and pick up her products wherever I find them.

I get this for my daughter who has natural curls and we love it. I love how it smells.

I have long dry wavy hair and this work really well to clean it but keep it moisturized.

First off, let me say that I love the Curl La La. that makes my hair feel soft and moisturized throughout the day.Now this I did not like. It makes my hair feel stringy like matted straw, I don’t like the smell. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either. And my hair feels really dry after my shower and my hair dries without putting anything in it. Like extra tangled and matted. This I would probably recommend to someone that’s trying to wash their dreadlocks. When I had locs, this would have been really good for my hair, because of the matted tangled results.But if you don’t have locs, I wouldn’t recommend it. I have type 4 hair but I’m not sure which letter. But maybe try it and see if it works for you, regardless of your hair type and style. Everyone is different. This leaves white residue on my hair. Looks gross. And my hair be dry soon after. Going back to the Curl la la. That and Queen Helene super cholesterol are a nice combo for my hair.

NON È UNO SHAMPOONON È UN BALSAMONON È PER CAPELLI LISCI O POROSIè un prodotto che lava via le impurità ma soprattutto i prodotti che si accumulano sui capelli afro. Io lo utilizzo soprattutto d estate dopo la piscina o il mare visto che idrata o a metà settimana se voglio cambiare stile ed ho bisogno di una rinfrescata. Ottimo dopo gli allenamenti. Ricci afro 4A bassa porosità ed ad alta densità.

I like this product a lot! I have caucasion hair. Most cowashes are too heavy for my hair but this one works great! I do have to use a leave-in to prevent drying, but it's not unusual for my hair to be on the dry side after shampooing. Love the scent too

Il profumo e ottimo e anche la consistenza. Sento il cuoio capelluto pulito e i capelli profumano. Li ho corti e quindi gioco facile. Per ora bene. Penso che ricomprerò il prodotto. Arrivato sigillato e ben riparato nella scatola.
