This stuff works great for me, even disguises some gray hair. Just the price has gone up a little too much.

This is my go to gel and I've been using it for at least a few years.I purchased in since I couldn't find my regular gel (KMS) and switched over.(I prefer the old KMS over this gel anyday.)The gel has a soft hold even though it says "Max control" it's not a stiff gel. I like it because it's leaves my hair a little spiky and it smells nice.I can't stand when I have to smell a stinky gel all day, but this one actually smells good.The hold is a softer hold and it will last if you don't touch it.If you do run your fingers through your hair, it won't hold.Every time I've used it, it's never crusted or got flaky.I actually use this gel as a finishing gel after I've used a stronger gel/paste in my hair. I use it to soft the hair and style it to finish.By itself it's doesn't get a firm hold.

If you want your hair to stay in place, this is the gel for you. If I’m wearing my hair up and I want the back to stay up without hair falling, this is good. However, your hair will feel a little stiff so I would use this for holding hair in place. I haven’t put it through all my hair and combed it because I think it’s a little thick for that. But keeping a few curls or something in place it’s perfect.

I usually purchase from walmart but i found it on here cheaper. It does its job,smells great and my children and i use it all the time. :) been using it since 2010 only hair gel i know that actually holds. I prefer this kind for spiked hair. And their other gel the (got to be kinky)for my long wavy hair to hold the beach wave look. :) great products that are worth your money and smell great not funky lol
