This is unfortunately the second book I’ve bought. I bought this one in the hope they paper quality and photo quality would be better. They are NOT.Very disappointing considering the price.I’ll be looking to return the item to Amazon. My other book the Rolex field guide is also up for sale. No ones been stupid enough to but it yet.

Excellent overview of what to look out for and consider in the hunt for vintage Rolex. Book is well produced and photos are high quality.

When I heard that the book from Colin A. White will be updated, I was really thrilled ! The book is great for any person willing to buy a vintage Rolex ! There is lots of pictures and information really useful even when you have already a good knowledge ! Thanks again for this great content !

I have mixed emotions about this book. While it is loaded with excellent information I was quite disappointed with the quality of the photos as well as the paper stock and color of ink chosen for its pages. Photos are soft, and nothing “pops.” Boring is the word that comes to mind. This is not what I expected from a book bearing a 2020 publication date and a price tag of $85.00. As icing on the cake, there is no index at the back of the book. To me that takes it out of the realm of a good research tool. While I am not going to return this book, all I can say is, if I had seen it in person before buying it, I would not have purchased it. However, to be fair, if you want lots of details about older Rolex models, then you will probably like the book. It’s just not for me.
