Amazing Grass Green Superfood Detox Effervescent, Watermelon, 200 G

my husband uses this stuff all the time and seems pretty happy with it. he adds it into a bottle of water most days and drinks it over a few hours. I use a different make but its the same principle. recommend.

Okay so I'll be honest. I'm someone that likes food but has lost weight. It's not easy for me to get my greens and I am big on taste that being said. This stuff does not taste amazing. I got the watermelon kind. It tastes like you imagine green powder would and does not mix the best. However, if you mix it in with your tea or smoothie it is not half bad. Sometimes I mix mine with a drink packet. It's gritty but manageable. On to the good part. Even though I'm not big on the taste, it actually makes me feel better. I get a bit of energy and like fresh feel. It's wierd but it actually works.

I'll tell you right now, if you don't like the taste of those "green smothies" then you won't like this. I dunno what Watermelons Amazing Grass farms are growing but they taste like dirt. Also have to say I don't like how the solution tends to not blend well and you are pretty much forced to drink it all at once or else the powder will just sink to the bottom and then it's just like drinking water with sand.

Absolutely love this product! I had tried several others before stumbling upon Amazing Grass and I'm so glad I went with this one. So far, I have purchased 3 different flavors. Watermelon (Energy), Goji & Acai and Cocoa Chocolate Infusion. The Watermelon/Energy is BY FAR my favorite. I mix it directly into a bottle of water (pour a little out first), shake it and go. It's that simple. I do have to shake it again before every sip or two, but that's okay. Once mixed it isn't gritty or grainy and goes down smoothly and the taste is wonderful. It also gives me a wonderful boost of energy and gives me more of a naturally clean feeling rush than my coffee does. As for the other two, the Goji & Acai is okay, mixes well - just not my preference as far as tastes go. The Chocolate one is good as well but I do find myself having a much harder time mixing it with my water. It says it's the new/finer grind but out of all 3 flavors, the chocolate is the one I've had the hardest time blending. Tastes pretty good though and it actually does a pretty decent job of curbing my craving for chocolate! But if you're looking for a nice boost of energy with a pleasant taste while getting your greens, I would definitely go with the Watermelon!

I bought the original flavor of this product and liked it enough for its great health benefits and energy (if you are looking to do a little cleansing after a junk food weekend, this product works for that as well). First, buy the sample packs if you are unsure which flavors you will like. It has been fun taste testing all of them! I am writing this review for some of the other flavors. I was having a hard time drinking the original alone and wanted something that masked that earthy taste (fruit/yogurt based smoothies cover it, but green tea/lime based smoothies don't). The watermelon one definitely covers that taste, but remember, DONT expect it to taste like a watermelon jolly rancher lol. I can definitely drink this one alone with water, but keep your expectations real..... this is a GREEN superfood and wont ever taste like candy.... just a more palatable version of the original. The watermelon has a slight bubblegum taste to it..... but still better than the original if you want to drink it alone. Orange Creamsicle - Tastes more creamy than orange, but again, covers the earthy taste. I started disliking the after taste halfway through. Pineapple - Pretty good so far! Smells and tastes like pineapple juice (as much as something can without actually being pineapple juice). I would recommend for those looking for a very fruity flavor. Have not tried goji berry, chocolate or the wheatgrass one.... but I will see how those go. I highly suggest buying the sample packs here on amazon and figuring out what's right for you.... great decision for those with finicky palates.
