Not as good as other books in the series.
Well , well ,well so we have another five Morgan siblings and these were the poor relationship the series should go on for another few years. This was a true Cinderella story with a virus step mother and two step sisters who didn't want Cinderella to go to the ball into meet Prince charming. This time he wasn't left with a slipper but a diamond ring.A touch of glamour but no real drama.

Secret Cinderella - a review by Rosemary Kenny
Wow, oh Wow!! This 16th (no less!) novel in The House of Morgan series by the outstanding Princess of Romantic Suspense, Victoria Pinder, has it all - a downtrodden orphaned daughter, an 'evil' stepmother and two, (in this case not-so-ugly - on the outside) stepsisters, who take her for granted and force her to work, (no, not in the kitchen among the cinders, but) in the family (ie her) convenience/department store, established by her late father, that would founder completely if not for her and the other disparaged and maltreated staff.'Cinderella' Charlotte's only friend is Jack Masters. The pair dated in high school, until jealous plotting by one (now) stepsister parted them for several years.Who is Antonio Morgan? What changes the friendship back to second-chance romance for this unlikely 'Cinderella' and 'Buttons'?When does a threat arrive to the store's future? Where is Charlotte's father's Will - and who has a secret copy? Why would the ultra-rich Morgans want to meet Jack, his Mom and siblings? How does Charlotte's step-family feel about how events are changing Charlotte's life - and their own?A rich tapestry of relationships, love, hatred, jealousy, loss, devotion, friendship, family interactions, discovery, delight and much much more, is woven expertly by Victoria Pinder, in a fabulous re-working of the traditional rags-to-riches fairytale. This wonderful story is sure to captivate everyone who opens the cover, to discover within the riches of love and an HEA, that will warm your heart at Christmas and throughout the year. You're sure to read it more than once - it's that great! Don't waste a single minute in getting your hands on a copy of Secret Cinderella, as soon as it hits your local bookstore. It's a guaranteed winner that will make your dreams come true, without needing to wait for night-time to wish upon a star!

Amazing Book
Charlotte's father has died and the store was supposed to be hers but no will can be found. Her stepmother and step sister's treat her like dirt but she kept working hard at her father's store. Jack worked beside Charlotte at the store as they had been friends for years, he was her support and he had been in love with her for years. Then something big happened that changed everyone's life but left Charlotte so confused. Will everything work out for Charlotte and Jack or will outside forces keep and break them apart. Omg I really love this book it is a true Cinderella story full of twists and turns along with hope, heartache, love, spite and it is emotional in places. The Morgan Series is one of my all time favourite series. Victoria is an amazing author and talented writer and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.I Voluntarily Reviewed an ARC Copy Of This Book.

Great story
Charlotte is a girl whose mother died when she was young. Her father remarried and she gained 2 step sisters. Then her father dies when she was 12.. They did not really care for her but kept her father's store because it provided them with money leaving Charlotte as the very poorly paid dogsbody at the store. Only her nest friend Jack kept her sane. This is their story. A good book of romance, humour and raw feelings well written. A joy to read and dreams can come true. I was given this book as an ARC reader
