Well made, very durable. Similar to the one I purchased on the Amalfi Coast

These are the authentic Italian biscotti, hard baked and crunchy. Unsuitable for deliate teeth. Made to be dunk in something hot, although the sweet dessert wine Vin Santo is said to be good with these, too. Typical of desserts in wine counbtries, biscotti are not sweet. You can add some brandy to that coffee if you want. I love them!

Amazon shipped it in a paper envelope. Cookies in a paper box!! with predictable results. The cookies are very good - what's left of them. Not returnable. Exercise caution before buying.

I would have liked them much more if they hadn't had a slight orange scent and a strong orange taste to them. I didn't notice orange listed in the ingredients when I ordered them, but after the first bite I checked and sure enough, orange is in the ingredients list. Because I don't like the smell or taste of oranges mixed with almond, I won't be buying these again, but I will be checking the ingredients list more carefully, since apparently orange is a relatively common ingredient in biscotti, although I'd never come across that before. Also, they are harder and smaller than I expected.
