Very durable and expanding scooter
Our daughter is 6 and first received one of the Razor dual rear wheel models. This was nice for her to be able to balance better, but the item was mainly plastic and broke after the third use.So we ended up getting this model after reading reviews and looking at models in stores. The value is high as the price is very reasonable and the build quality is good. Metal everywhere, nice expandable handle bars, easily folds, has a rear kick brake and the wheels seem pretty durable.Overall although she cannot balance as easily right away with this scooter, we feel our daughter will be happier with it as it will be able to "grow" with her more than the three wheel version.

Very good quality
This is the first scooter for my 4 years old. So far she only ride on it slowly. She is slightly shorter than average kids, but since the handle bar height is adjustable she has no problem using it.Overall this scooter is very well constructed, and the wheels go very smoothly. There is nothing I can complain about this scooter. Too bad I'm over the weight limit for this scooter, or else I will try it myself and tell you more about it.

Good for active kids / Easy to pack in car
For my 7yo (very active) son. He was really rough on his last scooter, which was not a Razor. So far, it's held up very well and feels sturdy to me. Folds down very easily to a compact size which is really handy so it can be taken to the track, park or on car trips for his stretch-out breaks. And he loves the styling of it (handles spin 360 around base for his tricks) and the look.

Beware: Not appropriate for adults
We bought a bunch of Razor A scooters, and A2 scooters. We found that the A2 scooters are nearly an inch shorter, which makes them really hard for any adults to ride. The construction seemed generally a little flimsier, though neater, and the base is a bit less wide.If you are planning to buy these for an office or for a gag, avoid the A2.

neon animal print duct tape!
The seven-year-old is on this all the time. We "customized" it with some colorful neon animal print duct tape for easy identification, since the local Brooklyn park we frequent has DOZENS of these things lying around. The steering column and front wheel have slid out of alignment a couple times, but were easily fixed. Just keep an eye out for it.

razor a2 scooter rocks!
I love this scooter; the only thing is I don't like the rear bar because it's hard to brake with it on. It caused a lot of trouble until we realized that it could be removed. So basically we paid more for something we had to take off. Get the razor a instead. It's cheaper and you don't have to take anything off.

love it, but confused
I ordered the purple A2 from Amazon. It arrived and it is sharp and my daughter loves it. But I am confused. It came in an A2 box and it is purple, but I swear it has 125mm A3 wheels on it. They are not the same purple wheels as in the picture. So I thought maybe somehow an A3 ended up in an A2 box and I am just lucky, but when I search the internet, there is no such thing as a purple A3. There is also no such thing as an A2 with 125mm wheels. So I am not sure exactly what I got or how I got it.

Great Scooter
I got this scooter for my 5 year old boy. He absolutely loves it. It's well made and easy enough for kids to adjust the handle height on their own. Compared to his old scooter, this Razor moves much more smoothly and faster.
