Are these both Sulfate free?

From the OGX FAQ:. "OGX® products do not contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate or Sodium Laurel Sulfate.". However, I don't know if there are other types of sulfates.

what does it smell like?

In my opinion it has a lovely scent. It's not terribly strong, but does leave the hair smelling good all throughout the day. It's not an overly sweet scent and has a very slightly spiced vanilla hint to it.

Is this safe on color treated hair?

I have color treated hair and have been using these products for about 6 mos. I have thinning hair and it does appear to make my hair look thicker. Happy with this product.
