After 2 years stop working
It is difficult to install it, it last for 2 years and suddenly stopped to work.

Mediocre Quality - Hard to install, 3 month update
The product does what it's advertised to do, but the quality is questionable. The sound is loud when it's locking/unlocking, and the locked status when you try to close the cabinet you really have to slam it shut for the lock to get stuck in the latch. Installation wasn't easy as there are no instructions (especially for the measurements) Had to do a couple of trials and errors, but I was smart to use double sided tape until I perfected the location, then screwed the lock in. Do not use screws immediately and damage your cabinet, use a double sided tape first, make sure it is aligned well, then fix it with the screws. 3 Stars at best.3 months later.. Burns through batteries like hot knife through butter. I barely open my drawer 2 times a week and I've been changing batteries weekly. Changed the batteries and went on vacation for 20 days, came back to a locked drawer with my luxury watches stuck inside. Exciting. Now what? Either I damage my drawer or I have to call an expensive carpenter to dismantle the cabinet. Not at all recommended.

Simple to install and works exactly as described
I needed an RFID lock for a cabinet. I looked at several options, and was surprised by the variety. Some RFID locks cost as much as the cabinet! The price for this unit was reasonable. I was unsure about the brand, and there were some negative reviews. But, some negative reviews were unrealistic regarding expectations. However, the positive reviews were realistic in expectations, so I purchased the lock.As long as you have some common sense and a drill with a 3/32" drill bit, you should have no problem installing the lock. I had to add some spacers due to the cabinet face frame (see photos). If spacers are needed, get longer screws to accommodate for the thickness of the spacer/shim. All in all, I spent about 35 minutes installing the lock with the spacers.So far the lock as worked as advertised. IMPORTANT NOTICE: program the RFID card/tag BEFORE installing the lock. Otherwise, you will not be able to open the cabinet!
