I've purchased kinky curly hair from HerGivenHair company online. Their kinky curly clip ins lasted about 14 to 16 months before the clips wore out. Those clip-ins were approx $265 for 2 bundles. The quality of this hair is very similar to that online company but you save so much money. I didnt want to spend almost $300 on kinky curly weave so I took a chance on Luwigs afro kinky. The first pic is to demonstrate how full the hair is. You get so much hair in one bundle. I used approx one and a quarter pack to get desired volume. In the second picture that's what it looks like after a twist out and its 2 days old. The pictures speak for themselves. The only thing I didnt like was there are some rust colored strands in the bundle...the typical weave hair smell was there despite co-wash...its only bothersome when hair is wet. Aside from that I'll take it lol. I can always dye the hair and after a couple of washes hair will smell fine when wet.

Absolutely the best hair I’ve bought. Made a wig with only 2 bundles of 12in. Bleached it lightly and added some red amber color in it. Put wig combs on it and voila! I put some gel on my leave out and that’s it. I will be buying more just to keep in stock. Love love love it!!! And questions lady_c915 on ig

Get what you pay for. The quality is bad. Came with a bad smell and washed with conditioner. Right away the curl pattern loosed and no longer looked like 4c hair. In one of the pics i attached at the top is the hair before washing and bottom is the curl pattern after washing. The ends are extremely thin and split and knotted up after taking down twist out. All curly hair sheds some but this hair sheds like crazy. I give 2 stars because despite the negative I paid for it so I wore it and it was just OK for a day or two but definitely not the quality that would last you months or even years like some of the hair I've bought from bigger companies.

Looked so natural. I bought three bundles. I should have just bought two because the hair is extremely full and thick. I used maybe a quarter of the third pack and used the remainder for ponytails/buns later on. I washed the hair before using it just because it had a smell to it. I kept the hair in for 5 weeks and it looked great the entire time. It started to knot up towards the last week and I’m pretty sure if I detangled and washed it I could have used it for another install. But I myself did not try that. I did not leave any of my natural hair out but this hair would blend really well with 4C texture. Many people asked me if it was my natural hair or how long I had been growing my hair out.

The texture of the hair is nice. I have purchased this here three times because I really like the texture. However, the hair sheds like crazy. It also just pulls out when you wash it. After a few washes you are left with half of what you started with. I will not be purchasing the hair again.
