I brought it to aviod Brown aglea spread on a 3 yrs old tank. No use. Didn't help at all.

Use this a couple of times when setting up new tanks, helps to give a crystal clear look to the water if you're impatient and don't want to wait for the filter floss to clear it. Definitely helps speed the process up. I use a wide range of Seachem products and they are always spot on!

Ya había probado de todo contra las algas pincel, pero esto es lo único que ha funcionado. Tengo bastantes plantas, uso CO2 de botella e iluminación potente de tipo LED para mi acuario de 180l con plantación de tipo medio (espadas amazónicas y anubias). Siempre tuve problemas de algas, las rojas no había forma de eliminarlas ni con agua oxigenada ni nada. El agua de mi zona tiene bastantes silicatos, pero por no andar con equipos de ósmosis, llevo con este producto ya un par de meses y prácticamente han desaparecido las algas rojas pincel e hilo. Digamos que habrá menos del 10% de lo que había antes. En mi caso el producto durará para 2 veces. Hay que ponerlo en una bolsa de acuario. Recomiendo las de JBL que son baratas y vienen 2.

Bought this to control the algae in my turtle tank, it sits very near a window and algae has been a real problem. This stuff add to the activated charcoal in the filter pads took care of the problem in a matter of weeks. Will definitely buy again when I run low, worth the cost for the time savings.
