Drain fit perfectly in the sink and is simple to use. I really like the look, much better than what it was before. I also like the center can bs taken out to be cleaned or to use the disposal normally.

I got this because I'm in my sourdough era and don't want starter going into my garbage disposal. I add a drain net (Amazon sells 100/bag) over it when I'm baking. Works great! Doesn't leak. Well made. Highly recommend.

I have a black granite composite double sink with black drain and garbage disposal flanges. The drain flange is fine since it was made of a material that doesn’t peel but the disposal flange was a powder coated metal that started peeling shortly after being installed and was unsightly. In my search to find a replacement that wouldn’t peel I found this and was delighted at how easy it was to install. Nothing has to be removed since it isn’t a replacement but it completely covers the old flange and looks great. It comes with the strainer/stopper so no need for the disposal stopper that so many lose or discard. The only undesirable thing about it is since it fits over the old flange it has a small edge that keeps a small amount of water from completely draining which may not bother others but it does me. The solution was just lift it up long enough for excess water to drain then wipe down. The design to cover the ugly peeling flange far outweighs lifting and/or wiping to drain the small excess of water. I have to wipe down the other side as well, which isn’t a cover and isn’t made to just pull out to keep the water from forming a stain on the sink. I recommend it for anyone who has a problem with the disposal flange peeling.

Fit and finish are nice. Black trim piece looks nice. Unit pushed down works great. Unit pulled 1/2 way up, to allow the water to drain but still capture the crap, doesn't work so great. It has a tendency not to stay up a little bit to allow the water to drain. Manufacturer needs to design it where you pull up a little bit and do a quarter turn, and it doesn't fall all the way back in. And I'm not an engineer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

Works ok in keeping the sink filled with water, but the strainer holes are too big and let too much food through when letting the water out of the sink.

Bought this thinking I needed it for my disposal unit but it came with one so it just sits in the cupboard.

I love this strainer. It is sturdy and works differently from all the others we have tried. They are a bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Definitely worth it.
