Great Product Outstanding Fit Easy to Install
AVS has great products. The Bug Deflector 2 is no exception. It fits my work van perfectly. Now I won’t have to worry about rocks chipping the finish away on the hood.Things I like, it’s a great fit. The installation video in the Amazon product pictures is well worth the watch several times to get the sequence for installation down. It fastens to the van nicely. I like the color and how it adds to the visual appeal of the van.On the con side, pay attention to the product when it arrives. The first one I received was cracked. The packaging had no damage and I didn’t damage the deflector. You couldn’t see the crack through the protective plastic either. So check the deflector prior to installing. Also worth mentioning is the video on the Amazon site is not for THIS specific model, the 25707. There are no clips to install like the one in the Amazon installation video. Just screws to install into the bottom of the hood. Pre-drilling the holes for the sheet metal screws is a great idea. Just don’t drill all the way through the hood to the outside.By the way, Amazon refunded me the original purchase after I returned it. No issues. So don’t throw away the packaging until you KNOW it works.

Perfect Fit
I have a 2008 Chevy Express van. This is the exact same unit that was on the van when it was manufactured.

Had one for many years..
Very good but this one came with 4 mounting screws and rubber bushings as well as tape. The mounting holes in the deflector were too small for the boss side of the rubber bushing to fit into. So the bushings squirm out from under the mounting screw when tightening. Wish I had checked it before securing to the hood with tape. Perhaps yet I can enlarge the holes with the deflector in place.Otherwise a great product!

Great hood saver and easy to clean behind too!
Anyone that has a GM van knows rock chips means paint peals. I have Bugflectors on all my company trucks. The 2017 Chevy with no bug shield paint was chipped and clear pealed in 3 yrs. I just repainted hood and installed Bug deflector. I am expecting to get a lot of years with no paint issues. For example.I just sold my an 06 GMC with same bug shield and hood just started to have paint peeling on hood.I do recommend drilling four or five1/8” holes in bottom curve of bug deflector to keep water from pooling at center. The back side of bug shield collects leaves and debris behind it. When you add water to it the debris can stain hood. Not only that but metal in pooling water = rust
