not installed yet... will updateactually sewn & glued surround. surround feels like decent rubber.feels constructed like a generic 6x9 should...not newer thin junkmagnet not huge even with the thick rubber cover & will fit as expected.....box was pre-opened upon arrival...not installed or messed up in any way thostill looks like brand new
