ZenportZ202 Heavy Duty Pruner, Cut-n-hold, Red Handles, 8-Inch

Does a good job holding clippings and is very sharp. I use mainly on roses and some hard branches up to 3/8 inch thick. Has become my everyday nipper. I keep her clean and lubed. I did make one modification to the spring wire that was coming up through the slot in the plastic. I forget now exactly what, but I have the wire under the plastic. Maybe yours won't be like mine but it really grabs the clipping like I have it.

I use this pruner for my grafting experiment and it's been working very well. The pruner is very sturdy and comfortable to use. Highly recommended.

These work great, grabbing the cut piece long enough to pull it out and get rid of it. . . .if you are right-handed. I happen to be a lefty, so I notice the problem. When you cut, you need to have the face upright or it doesn't grab the stem. Use it in your right hand and it seems to be in the right position most of the time. Sigh, wish they would make one that works for either hand.

the handles are very comfortable, replaceable carbon-steel blades, made in taiwan. a very well designed and produced tool, i use this to prune the small plants in my house, and my bonsai tree, but it opens up to prune much thicker branches/stems. very strong comfortable heavy duty design. i'd get another one just to let people borrow it. i don't want anyone to touch my first one, it's so great i want to keep it all to myself. haha

If you like Felcos, these are twice as good. They look and feel just like Felcos, cut through stems like butter, just like Felcos. But they are cut and hold, which I LOVE and doesn't have the price tag of a Felco! A dream to use!
