Good but it stains the cloths

For such an expensive deodorant, you would hope they wouldn’t come defective. I’m quite bummed (Livid?) that Two of the three deodorants that came in my pack had defective mechanisms so they wouldn’t raise up at all. The first one a tried worked great but the second and third ones are utterly unusable because there’s no way to get the deodorant out of the stick and into my armpits.

I live in the south west and it’s VERY HOT. I sweat profusely and it stinks. I’ve tried everything. Even prescription deodorants and they’ve helped with sweat but not smell, and I have to apply them more than once a day. I tried this and it works!! No more sweat and no more smell and I only have to apply it once a day!! Just buy it. It works

Okay....here we go: I decided to switch to natural deodorant because natural > cancer causing chemicals. So I get it in the mail and it's small but that's OK. It's hard but that's OK because the company warns you about that. So I smoothed it on after dropping some tea tree oil to my pits. Two-three days later I get the swollen lymph nodes. Ok sure, it's not like I wasn't warned. The company tells you this is because of the body purging toxins. A week or so later the lymph nodes are just about back to normal and what do I realize? My pits are black. Blacker than the pits of hell. Blacker than a black hole. I'm a person of color and I've dealt with some discoloration before but this was obscene. I google what's going on and apparently it's due to baking soda. So I guess I have sensitive armpits. I made a dermatologist appointment just to make sure my arms won't fall off or anything. Plus, it's fine- I've always wanted to look into bleaching and here's my chance. Moral of the story is: the product works on certain people, I guess. If you try this stuff please be prepared to go through some uncomfortable things. The customer service is nice, though. I just can't buy this deodorant again or any other that has a high amount of baking soda in it. But! Hopefully it works out for you because a HUGE pro was that it lasted a long time. I put it on once a day and the smell lasted all the way til the next morning. And this is coming from a person who sweats from practically blinking. EDIT 2/12/17 So I realized that my armpit was straight up black because it was dead skin. So I was hardcore scrubbing cells off in the shower and when I got out I felt rejuvenated. I bought another one (bergamot) and it arrived today and I'm so excited to use it. I guess I was just thrown off by the detox period but I'm glad I stuck it out because I don't think I'm going to try another deodorant in a looooong time. So now that I go back and think about it critically I'd give it 5 stars because it does absolutely what it claims to do. Rough detox but you can't fault the company for your own body cleaning itself up. One use lasts all day. I do recommend putting some tea tree oil on as well. Tea tree oil is amazing due to its many positives and also helps the deodorant glide on in case yours is hard.

I bought this along with several different kinds of deodorants for my daughter to try out. She found another she liked first so I tried this one after my antiperspirant ran out. I’ve tried many different natural deodorants and they never seemed to last long enough or they felt sticky. I’m now a convert as this deodorant works well for me. It smells nice and is not perfumy or overwhelming. It lasts very well for me, even after 5-10km runs. Oddly, it did give me a rash after about a month of use which was very disappointing, but, a quick look on their website said to take a break for a few days and try again. The rash cleared quickly and I started using the deodorant again without any further problems.

I finally found a natural aluminium free that both works and does not irritate my skin. Many of such deodorants have baking soda in them and they cause itchiness and red patches on me, or they just don't really work. I've used Freedom for a few weeks in really hot weather and I've been very happy with the results. Sometimes there is a slightly funky smell if I was in the sun for some time but otherwise, I've not had any issues using it. I apply it right after bathing at night, sleep in an aircon room and apply it again in the morning before I go out. It lasts through the day for me.
