A serious upgrade for blown factory sound
I finally had to address the sound situation in my 2016 F-150 after the stock door units completely failed. I wasn't looking to spend a fortune on a high-end audiophile setup, but I did want something that could handle some volume and offer a real improvement over the original equipment. This pair turned out to be the ideal solution. For a budget-friendly option, they handle power incredibly well. Rated at 270 watts max, they can take a decent amount of volume without distorting, which is exactly what I meant when I said they "hit hard". The bass is punchy and full, much better than the flat sound I was used to. I also noticed a difference in the highs; the 3-way design with the silk dome tweeter separates the vocals and instruments clearly, so the sound isn't muddy. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality with the rubber surround feels durable enough to last. If you need to swap out dead speakers in your truck and want good performance for the money, these are hard to beat.

Fits 2014 ram 1500
Installed 4 skar 6x9 and skar 3.5 inch dash speakers in a 2014 ram 1500. And all I have to say is wow. The sound is amazing. Nice and crisp should’ve done this years ago.

Mind blowing sql and spl both
These are amazing, I can't believe how good these things sound. They have way deeper bass than I was expecting. Did a custom install on my girlfriends lebaron and they sound so good no matter what I've thrown at them I ordered 2 more sets for myself, they handle lows mids and highs better than any other 6x9 I've ever heard and they'll take a lot of power. I'd recommend getting an amp to drive these unless you have that crazy sony stereo that pushes 45w rms and even then it's still gonna be underpowered. They took about a day to get broken in and since then they'll eat up 80w rms like a champ with great clarity. 10/10 will recommend these to everyone and likely buy more when I get some big suv soon

Sloppy Sound Weak Tweeters
Don't know why people say to buy Skar. They suck. Sloppy sound and awful tweeters. 80hz cut off and still sound distorted at low volume. Connected to 22 watt head unit and very disappointing. Can't imagine what they sound like with an amplifier. Do not purchase stock speakers sound better.
