it does not stand in vertical mode i may need some workaround

Does this worh with the sansung U28E510D? the vesa on this monitors comes on the top and this doen't work well with my stand

Well this is an adapter, you disconnect the stand and the stub on the bottom of the monitor slides into this so you can plus the VESA mount into whatever you need.
