For the Love of Pete: DO NOT Tighten Any Bolts Until You are Done
Alternate Titles for this Review:- The Day I Screwed & Unscrewed Approximately 4,512 Bolts- I Almost Gave Up My Dream of Planting Blueberry Bushes Over This Thing- Why Did I Workout This Morning? I Just Burned 1,100 Calories Building Two Raised Beds- I Should’ve Paid the Guy on FB Marketplace $150 to Build me Some Wood Raised Beds- If I Move, These Suckers are Staying for the Super Fair Price of $1000 EachI don’t normally write Amazon reviews unless it’s just a few words and some stars... but y’all, this product deserves a review. Heck, it even deserves some photos to supplement! Here are some tips I have gathered after spending an entire afternoon assembling two of these raised beds:Tip # 1: Glance over the one page instructions that come with this raised bed, paying attention to the images. Then, throw it out.Tip #2: Unless you hate your self, DO NOT tighten any bolts until the frame has been assembled.Tip #3: Feel free to use my photos attached to this review to guide you. Essentially, you:1) Attach two long sides together.2) Assemble two corners (as in the photo) to the long sides.3) Repeat the process on the other long side.4) Attach the short Sides to the long sides to form the rectangle.5) Attach support bars in the middle.6) Tighten all bolts.Tip #4: Do not attempt to assemble this raised bed without alcohol present. Tequila works nicely.May the odds ever be in your favor.P.S. - BTW, manufacturer, my previous job was as a technical writer and I’d be happy to contract out to you and create some THOROUGH instructions for you.

nice raised garden box
Ordered 2 of these. They were easy to set up by myself, faster with 2 people. The instructions could be printed a little larger to be easier to read and make clear the picture they tell you to reference. From the 2 kits I had 4 extra bolts and 3 extra nuts when finished.I put some extra shade cloth that I had from another project, down on the ground where I set these, horrible Vegas dirt so used the shade cloth to separate it from the good soil I am going to use and allow drainage. Then filled each box with:1 -- 3cuft bag of peat moss1 -- 3cuft bag of compost3 -- 2cuft bags of garden soilThis filled it up nicely, but can tell that next season after it all settles will need to add some more garden soil.Overall wife is happy so it was a good deal.

Why rust?
I only give it 3 stars because it rusted after 3 weeks. The base is sit on top of stone. But this one corner got rusted. The size is great. I’m wondering what it will look like when summer is finished.

Does the job but ridiculous amount of work to put together
I'll start this by saying this product does the job BUT...it was ridiculous to have to put together. If you LOVE Erector Sets as a kid, you'll enjoy putting this together because it comes with a ridiculous number of bolts and screws and supports to put it together. Also, you have to be very careful you are putting the bolts in the correct side otherwise you'll spend the rest of your afternoon unscrewing everything to flip the bolts around because both sides of the metal are the same color.A month ago I bought a KING BIRD raised garden (ASIN #B079R764PP) and it is SO better engineered and feels SO much more sturdy. I literally had that entire garden built in 20 minutes. It took me 20 minutes just to assemble one corner of this zizin garden. And for god sakes, DON'T TIGHTEN the bolts because I guarantee you'll need to unscrew them and correct them several times. The instructions are not great.I've by the KING BIRD garden again in a heartbeat. But this one... I'd think hard about repurchasing. The only benefit is that this one arrived in 2 days and was cheaper then the KING BIRD one. So... if you don't need it quickly, please go with the KING BIRD one. Yes its more expensive but it feels so much more sturdy and will save you a lot of frustration. If you need something quick and you love spending a lot of time screwing little bolts and nuts together, then by all means purchase away.Once filled with dirt, it does the job.

Good product, worth every penny.
I bought two but I only have one 90% assembled. The last step tightening hardware need doing. So while I’m still at the assembly stage I like it. The directions recommend two people and while one person can manage two makes it easier. You won’t lose your mind. Unless you assemble it where you are going to use it you will need two people to put in place but it is very light, easy to pick up. I assembled mine in the garage because putting something together like this bed in dirt would be a big mistake that you would only realize right after you dropped the first nut. It appears very sturdy and the middle support brackets are a real plus. The directions also recommend using gloves so you don’t cut yourself which only works if you’re not an older person like me and you have more dexterity in your fingers like I don’t. Trying to hold those little nuts and bolts with a pair gloves on was impossible. Fortunately there were NO rough edges for me to cut myself. The pegs they give you to secure the unit in place, smart idea. I gave 4 stars on ease to assemble because while the directions were perfectly clear to me the pictures were not. They weren’t out of focus or light they were just too small. Again being an older person I could have used a bigger picture to look at while assembling. As I said I bought two I hope the other assembles as easily as this one. I am very much looking forward to using it this spring and summer. I recommend it to anyone who wants raised beds. Side note: I have voles in my yard so I will be putting double layer chicken wire under the bed to make sure they don’t help themselves to my veggies.
