is this color safe for hair that has been colored?

I would say this is a mild shampoo. My hair is gray :) I don't know how it reacts with hair color.

How long should you let the shampoo and the conditioner sit in your hair before rinsing?

my preference is i work the shampoo until you feel a noticeable difference in your hair. AKA oils and grime stripped. Then rinse the shampoo out and add the conditioner. Again work the conditioner in thoroughly and let that sit. I will use my face wash and then scrub my body down with body wash. I leave the conditioner in for that whole time until i'm about to get out then I'll rinse it out. This is my preference but everyone's hair is different. I will say I'm fairly certain you are not supposed to let the shampoo sit in your hair at all.
