Q: I have awalkman mp3 player w/ usb . i plug it in to my boom box but have no control over which song i can play. do i have control with this box?

The USB on this Boombox only saw 37 of 2600 songs when I tried it , it's capacity ability is severely restricted ... However if you were to run it through the Auxilliary port somehow you might have better luck . Of the 37 songs it recognized , I had control to move up or down it seemed one song at a time but I could not get it to play shuffle/randomly .

Yes, it has the standard AC plug that plugs into a wall socket.

Q: How do I get my mp3 player to play?

Integrated one plays your music at USB stick, just change source to usb/mp3. External ones can be connected through bluetooth or by an audio cable plugged into input connector.
