Me funciona perfecto como peer para mi servidor local de asterisk, puedo hacer llamadas a la red PSTN y recibir llamadas generadas desde la PSTN a través de sus 8 puertos fxo, y es mejor tener dispositivo externo como este que no consuma recursos al servidor.

This has been excellent for my small business. Three traditional phone lines come in to this box, which are then routed on to our LAN to power an Elastix phone server.A bit expensive for what it does, though. I guess there are simply few hardware suppliers for this type of product, so they're able to charge a premium.Configuration can be a nightmare if you don't know exactly what you're doing, but this has gotten better recently with firmware updates.This may not be very scalable, though. Physical phone lines can be expensive, so at some point we will probably add VOIP lines rather than new physical lines, which means that we'll rely less on this piece of hardware.

I had a small office to setup a phone system. They have very poor DSL, so I wanted to use an FXO gateway to bring in POTS lines.The GrandStream GXW4108 is very complex with a bunch of different options. It's not well documented and not easy to setup, but by using a lot of guides and trail and error, I got it working with PBX in a Flash. Yes it can be configured so that calls coming in select ports ring only select ring groups. Also, you can pick what channel/line each outgoing call uses.It's been working great and no echo or anything.

Good product but one issue not able configure to dial out from 3CX though this gate way was only able to receive call from gate way to 3CX extension number
