We got these to help us keep track of leftovers. I was a bit apprehensive because they are designed for commercial kitchens and I was worried our dishwasher wouldn’t be enough to remove the labels. One of my concerns was also that the adhesive would leave residue or discolor containers. We have used these on Rubbermaid tritan plastic containers, Tupperware, sterilite food containers, and other plastic and glass food storage containers. So far we have had zero issues with the labels washing off. Even a light soak in the sink is enough to dissolve a label. *Note the video shows hot water dissolving the label* Given our experience, we feel we can recommend these for any kitchen— commercial, home, or otherwise!

These labels are simple to use, and are helpful for anything that you need to keep track of the day/date for. They are easy to mark with a pen or marker. There is a decent amount of space to write on, but not a ton of room, so if you were to write small you'd be able to write the contents. I use these labels to mark the date of when I opened food containers, or to store leftovers, and the labels wash off well in the dishwasher or the sink. With 1000 labels per roll/day, I probably will have these for a long, long time. The dispenser holds the rolls well so the edges/labels don't get messed up, and its makes it easy to dispense just what you need. Since these labels dissolve in water, make sure your mounting surface is dry, and/or your hands are dry!
