I am hoping this will change but right now it's a little bit of a problem. The leash is not very flexible. Because of this, it's very easy for my hyperactive dog to get me tangled up in it. She is a boxer puppy, about 50#, so she can be a challenge for me to handle. I feel totally safe and not worried that she can break the leash as it is very sturdy. I am mobility limited which is the reason for the leash. She's been a bit of a challenge when I allowed her to run outside free. She never wants to come in. So, we purchased the 50 foot leash. As long as I stand where she can't run behind me, all is good with the world. Also, on ONE occasion the leash became unfastened to her collar. I checked it closely and see no reason why it should have been able to unfasten, but it did. In all fairness, this leash may become more flexible as it is used. It IS a great length, I LOVE THE PADDED HANDLE (BIG PLUS). I would recommend this leash to anyone who wants the safety of having their dog under their control while allowing it to run and play. I throw her ball for her and she chases it and because of the leash she even occasionally brings it back - which she NEVER did before. She's a puppy - so I'm hoping this leash will encourage her to behave more.

The length and durability help my SAR team keep training in any weather.

Bought for a scentwork lead. Love the grip along the length of the leash, makes it very easy to maintain control even with a strong dog.

Just tried this out today. LOVE it. I ordered the 15 ft. I already have two thin 25 ft one by a different vendor. I wanted something a little shorter and easy to manage but still give the dogs room to roam on our hikes. This length is perfect if you are more on trails and not in the middle of dense brush. The dog doesn't get so far ahead that he "forgets" you are there and you aren't carrying 20 feet of mud covered long line when you need to shorten up for some reason. I was skeptical about the rubber grip but it works great. The webbing is a little thicker on the line. Its more durable--between the heavier webbing and rubber grip its more strudy. I'm sure you can still strip the skin off you hand or leg if the dog bolts but I think for average pulling you have better control than the regular flat, thin nylon lines. The padded handle is really nice. I wouldn't use it for training situations where you want simulate off leash and need a lighter line, but for safe walk with your dog at liberty, this is great.

Leash grip is excellent. Doesn't burn or cut your hand at all. Bought the 15 ft. For sniff walks with my beagle. Easy to control him with this leash.

Bought this leash a year ago and loved it. We used this leash for recall training, as my German Shepherd is 100lbs and likes to take off after squirrels. We took him camping for the first time and tied him to the picnic table with this line. He saw another dog across the campsite and took off, still attached. Unfortunately, when he came to the end of the line, the metal completely snapped off where the two pieces were welded together. I plan on cutting off the remaining metal and replacing it with a more heavy duty clasp or carabiner. Besides the not so great metal piece, this leash is great!

Just the perfect length i wanted. Quality is great and I hope it lasts a long time.

ロングリードで何度か手指やスネを火傷したことがあるので、瞬間的にグリップの効くものがほしくて購入。しかし、かなり厚みがある分、思った以上に嵩張る。イメージはでっかい巻き尺。車に乗せて河川敷等で使うなら良いけど、日常的に散歩しながらとなると結構ダルいかも。中型犬以下だと、引き摺ってる感も強いんじゃないかな。
