Q: Are the batteries replaceable? If so, what battery model do we need? 3.7v Duracell D123?

1.for battery, can get from here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TX77W94 2. for the wand, remove the tail cover and change the battery. 3. Can cut the old connector off and connect to above battery, be careful which one is negative and positive.

Q: Do you need to have a CD drive to download software

No, a CD drive isn’t necessary, the system comes with a manual that gives you a website where you can download the entire system online. The last system I ordered doesn’t even comes with a CD anymore, only directions to the website for full installation.

Q: Is the wand rechargeable?

No, the wand is not rechargeable, but there’s a battery inside each wand that usually has a life spawn of 2years.

Q: Does the security guard use the ibutton recorder or the Patrolman button to make his rounds each shift?

Depends how many you have. I use an ibutton for each guard seperaly and because i dont have many patrolman button.
