Is this effective for dry itchy scalp (not dandruff) for MEN too?

This helped my itchy scalp for about 12 hours. I ended up using T-GEL shampoo. THAT is what worked better than the dermatologists medicine or anything else! After 3 years I’m almost itch free!

Does this benefit the hair itself? Such as hydrating hair or whatnot?

I did not use it on the hair itself. I used it on the scalp, it is a cleansing product for the scalp to eliminate dandruff. They do have a conditioner that hydrated and treats the hair. The conditioner can be used in conjunction with scalp treatment.

Can you apply this to dry hair and scalp? Or does it have to be applied to damp, freshly washed hair?

You can apply it to dry hair but it should be applied to a clean scalp. It didn't help me at all. I changed to non-sulfate shampoos and my itch got so much better!

Is it supposed to be watery or more oilish?

More waterish -- kind of syrupyish.

Expensive experience

Unfortunatly it did nothing for me! Still itchy and flacking terribly. Bought it as i thought it would help my peri menopausal scalp from being so dry. I used the bottle in a few days. So my experience was quite expensive with no result.
