Light converters
We got an ikea light that used e17 bulbs and we had bought e12 smart candleabra lights, these were simple and very easy to install, works great.

Fits exactly and works great.
Easy fix to an exspensive problem. The intermediate bulbs are costly and hard to find at big box stores. This solves the problem for my ceiling fan. Easy to use. Screws onto candlebra light bulb without any problem. Three weeks since I replaced them and everything is working fine. I will update with video soon.

Good Quality & Great Price
These are great for replacing the expensive bulbs that use the e17 socket which is commonly found in appliances such as microwaves. They fit in my GE SpacesaverXL with no problem. These adapters are also solid. They are not something you can bend between your thumb and finger unlike other, flimsier adaptors. The length of the adapter is approximately 20.5mm or just under 13/16 inches. (see picture)However, there is a slight issue which made me choose four stars instead of five. The inner threads for e12 portion of the socket are at a slight angle. This isn't a big issue with smaller bulbs, but it will likely cause clearance issues if you try to use larger bulbs. See the included picture for further clarification.

Converts Strange Middle Size Sockets to small Candelabra/Night Light sized socket
Very Simple adapters. Work Great. - I have the odd middle sized lights over my kitchen stove in the fan hood. It takes two appliance 40 watt bulbs = 80 watts running sometimes early morning all the way through midnight. And appliance type bulbs with the weird base are very inneficient. A nightlight at 8 watts would put out more light. I screwed in one of these adapters and put in a single 5 watt LED candelabra bulb (40 watt equivelent) from a local discount lumber store and find it far brighter than the two older 40 watt appliance bulbs. The LEDs are quite a bit larger bulb so there wasn't room for two in my fixture. Over time these little things add up on the electric bill and more light is nicer. Overall very simple and work great. One Note: They are quite tricky to remove once they are screwed in. Not much to hang on to.

Excellent Quality: Best buy at Prime!
Although these adapters are not molded, high heat plastic, which they appear to be in the photo depiction, they are high quality and at $1.25 apiece, the best buy on the Internet. Be aware that these adapters are used to fit a candelabra bulb into an intermediate socket. Also, they do add about 0.6 inches to the overall length of the bulb because of the thickness of the base. All connections are well soldered, the brass is bright and fresh, and the inside insulator appears to be resin impregnated fiberglass. That dark ring around mouth, that seems to be bakelite, is actually a band of shrink tubing that smoothes the junction of the inner and outer shells. These shells are nicely soldered in two places and, along with the riveted and soldered center conductor, form a sturdy structure that is easily tightened into place and makes a rigid mount. While many people will use these adapters to burn Christmas tree bulbs or night-light bulbs in a base-down configuration, I am using one to burn a modified Feit LED in an old Tensor type lamp in a base-up configuration. The Feit LED only draws 7.5 Watts and replaces a 40 Watt incandescent lamp so this particular adapter should last the 25,000 hour lifetime of the LED.The fact that these adapters are hand assembled and soldered, attests to their ability to withstand fairly high temperatures so while I would question the wisdom of doing so, it seems that they could also be satisfactory for adapting a 40 Watt incandescent bulb in a base-down configuration as well. However, I would not do so in a base-up configuration. In such an intractable situation, I would opt for a much more expensive and less available, ceramic adapter. Just my opinion.

They work great but two were broken out of the pack
They work great but two were broken in the pack. So I was one short of what I needed

Change the size of you light bulbs base
If your ceiling fan uses those A17 regular light bulbs. Use these adapters and begin using the more elegant bulbs.

Safer than tin foil
You could, theoretically do the same with some tape and tin foil, but this is much smarter and safer. I have a couple of fans that have the candelabra style socket, why there are different size sockets I'll never know so I just chalk it up to the light bulb Illuminati who just want to see us suffer when it comes to finding bulbs that fit. The E12 socket is a little more common and allowed me to switch all my bulbs over to LED ones. I haven't had any arc overs, bulbs haven't shorted out, and they work with my dimmer switch. I suggest placing the adapter on the bulb and tightening it before trying to put it in the socket, and just twisting til snug, they're light bulbs people not lug nuts, they aren't spinning out anytime soon. Also don't use tin foil as a substitute for these, that's just lethal levels of dumb.

Solves the problem
The price sucks. But they work when your microwave takes the unicorn e17 socket bulbs.

It works, but why who may need 5 pcs?
Good workaround for replacing unique IKEA E17 bulbs with E12 base. Those E17 are impossible to find outside of the blue-yellow home of Sweden so this thing really helps. Not sure why I need 5 though - I have only 3 lamps.
