It is both vegan and vegetarian friendly, and to my knowledge it does not have anything from animals. I have been taking this for years. I order directly from the Mercola site where I can get a 90-day supply vs. 60 days.

When these were shipped to me unrefrigerated it was in the 80s sitting in a parcel locker. Would that have killed many off?
