Hi, Thank you so much for reaching out to us. Usually once a month is sufficient but if your puppy has an oily coat or just gets excessively dirty it can be used weekly. We also suggest trying the BB wipes for between baths. -Your friends at Fetch for Pets

No overbearing smell.

I used Burt’s Bees dog shampoo on my corgi, and I was really happy with it. It left her coat feeling super soft, clean, and nice without drying out her skin. I also really liked that the scent was light and fresh, but not overpowering like some dog shampoos can be. It rinsed out easily, and her fur felt great afterward. Definitely a good option if you want something gentle that still leaves your dog feeling clean and soft.
