Wall Mount Holder for ASUS ZenWiFi AX AC (XT8 CT8 XT9) Whole-Home Tri-Band Mesh System WiFi 6 System Wall Bracket Hanger Stand Compatible with ASUS ZenWiFi AX AC (White 2Pack)

This is an excellent product. For my home network, I’m focused on coverage, speed and security, and this system does great on all three. For those (like me) switching from TP-Link because of security concerns, this is a great fit. Easy to set up in place of my previous hardware, good, consistent performance and excellent router control software. The router software gave me a checklist of security concerns with the default setup and walked me through plugging the gaps. Beautiful, my network has never been faster or more secure.

Its secured in the rear with small hooks, front are regular snap-to-attach. All in all excellent design.

This does what it says it does, and is sturdy, but the snap in attachment is unnecessary. I am not hanging this upside down, or in a place that is getting banged a bunch, but when I was checking the install before wiring it, it snapped into place, and was a pain to get out. I think it would be better if it didn’t have those clips, or had a tab you pushed to release underneath in some fashion.

I have a mesh system with 3 nodes and noticed that things like placing a node behind the TV, near the floor, behind most solid obstructions, or in an area of congestion (like lots of electrical wires, lots of Wi-Fi devices, or strong magnetic fields) seemed to cause issues. Just getting the router up a little made a big difference. For example, I mounted one node behind the TV near the top of the TV and it made a difference. It’s still hidden from view by the TV screen, but connections are more robust than when it was sitting on the TV cabinet (down at the bottom, rear of the TV). The best defense against issues from a cluster of Wi-Fi devices is to use a switch … changing as many Wi-Fi devices to wired ethernet connections as possible.

Excellent

Purchased the two pack for a 1300sqft home on .25 acre lot. Installed them in the basement, on the joists just beneath the front and rear rooms of the house. Full WiFi signal everywhere indoors. Verizon Fios gigabit connection tests at rated speed. Ran cat6 cable from each unit to wall plug in rooms. WiFiis largely for guests and smart home devices. Great coverage outside of house, can browse internet in the driveway at full speed. Smart home landscape lighting sitting 25 feet from house still has good signal strength. Might recommend a third unit for anyone with a larger yard or structure. Ran cat6 wire for the backhaul link to each unit, rather than depending on 5khz channel. Setup was easy, units have been reliable. Recommendation is to install surge protection power outlet for each unit.

The wall screws that come with this are very cheap and not great at all. I had to use my own and they are plastic and a bit flimsy. Overall they are a great idea and does the job,

Perfect fit for my ASUS ZenWiFi ET8. Easy wall mount installation. Some say the bottom isn't finished but this doesn't really bother me.

Well-designed and quality material. Fit perfectly to my ASUS X9 router, mounted on my wall. Very stable and durable

Well fitting support. Changed mounting screws and wall anchors. Delivery timely. Packaging undamaged.

Great mesh network system. Works extremely well and was super easy to setup as well.
